Shailey graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London in 2001. She has over 20 years of experience in general practice and more than a decade specialising in aviation medicine. She currently practices as a CAA approved Class 1 AME.
Following several years working as a GP in the UK, she went on to develop her aviation medicine career with Emirates Airline in Dubai, gaining extensive experience in the assessment and care of pilots and aviation professionals within an international setting.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Vora is an active contributor to the aviation medicine community. She is a committee member of the UK Association of Aviation Medical Examiners (AAME) and currently serves as the association’s Honorary Secretary, supporting professional standards and collaboration within the field.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing the saxophone, travelling, and golf.
