Dr. Kapil Ojha graduated from the Peninsula School of Medicine (Universities of Exeter and Plymouth). He holds the FRCGP and obtained a private pilot’s licence in 2013 in Lakeland, Florida. He then obtained a MSc in Aerospace Medicine and DAvMed from Kings College London. His research on in-flight medical incidents resulted in an award from the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA). He has also worked at the UK Civil Aviation Authority as a Medical Assessor and as a Specialty Registrar in Aviation and Space Medicine. In March 2024, Kapil obtained accreditation as a Consultant in Aviation and Space Medicine. He is a UK CAA Authorised Class 1 Medical Examiner and an EU EASA authorised Class 1 Medical Examiner (AT AME 0132).
