Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Seafarer ENG-1 Medicals
The medical consists of: A questionnaire, Medical Examination (during which you will need to undress down to your underwear) and includes a vision test, urinalysis and audiometry.
Please note that:
In accordance with MCA guidance if your BMI >30.0 you may well require a separate Chester Step exercise performance assessment which incurs an additional charge and usually involves a separate appointment.
The medical outcome is also dependent upon compliance with all relevant MCA regulations.

- Passport, Drivers Licence or Seafarers book
- Previous ENG-1 certificate if applicable
